This past Sunday, Sarasota had a huge art festival for all of us to enjoy. Silly Goose was filming around town with the www.foolingaroundtown.com crew and we did see a lot of art. But the moment that we got to the booth of Nnamdi's art we had to stop.
It was just a very peaceful and beautiful art we were looking at. I started to talk to the artist and ask questions when we at the spur of the moment we decided to do a video. The artist's personality was so captivating that we had to do it.
So here goes, enjoy!
His name is Nnamdi Okonkwo and is an amazing artist that lives Georgia. He creates amazing sculptures in bronze. Starting from small size to monumental sizes. He has many shows around the country as well as many installations that you can find it on display at Mesa, Arizona, Colorado, Harlem in NYC which by the end of spring it will have a new addition to the city.
