Turkish Ice Cream at Osaka/Dotombori - May 2008 Japan

Stretchy ice cream was surprise to find in Osaka, Japan. 2 gooses enjoying a nice, busy afternoon at Dotombori district in Osaka and we see TURKISH ICE CREAM! Yes, Turkish ice cream and it is very stretchy. It was a success for 2 silly gooses that have never seen something like this before.

Beside the performance of the ice cream man and the way how he was stretching the ice cream, we were curious to know why it has that consistency. thanks to wikipedia here is the explanation :)

Finally we bought ice cream, which the turkish ice cream man was playing with us while preparing the ice cream. Similar to the video below:

After the stretchy Turkish ice cream experience, the night arrived at Osaka and a new face of the city was awaken. It was young, fresh, pop, modern, no string attach, it was just raw music in every corner of Osaka. Enjoy the experience!
